eye color:: Green
overall:: Where to begin? Well, to say that Xander was a clean cut, extraordinarily handsome man with no flaws would be a bit more than an overstatement. On the other hand, however, to call him ugly, or even unattractive would be more than an understatement. To say the least, I would say you could put him somewhere between the two, average if such a thing did exist.
Xander's eyes are beautiful, the color a somewhat unique, dark emerald color with flecks of hazel thrown in there. Though the simple color is enough to make someone look, it's not the only thing that makes them so wonderful. There is so much emotion that can be read so easily from their depths, it's as if you could drowned in their endless color. When talking about flying or quidditch, there is always such a sparkle of passion and feeling for the subject that is evident within his eyes, you could spend the entire time staring into them, and believe anything he told you.
Xander has an oval shaped face that holds a thin, muscular appearance. His pale pink lips are just like everyone else's, nothing special at all. They don't dry out too easily, and he never really does anything to protect them. The rest of his face is just about as average as it can get. He has a thin, almost pointed nose, and slightly bushy dark eyebrows. His skin is smooth and naturally rather tan. He takes care to keep his face shaved, but he can usually be found with a bit of short pinch styled beard. He doesn't let it grow that long however.
As far as his body type goes, he has a thin, muscular, athletic build. He is tall and has lean muscles that are noticeable even when he doesn't flex. He isn't completely ripped, however. Quidditch is his life, and as a result his body is kept in decent shape all the time. Though he is thin, he keeps a good amount of meat on his body so it looks as though he is quite active and healthy. His shoulders are broad and he carries a very lean physique with sleek muscles. He has finely toned arms and nicely defined abs. His honey colored brown hair is usually kept rather short and kinda spiked up in the front, though he has been known to shave it off. Like many guys, he doesn't quite care about the way he looks.
He's never been one to spend a whole lot of time in the mornings getting ready. Getting up early in the morning isn't exactly his favorite thing to do everyday, so he ends up giving himself just enough time to get ready. Too lazy to actually do anything with his uniform, it's usually untucked and the tie loose around his neck. When he's not in uniform, he'll most likely throw on a pair of jeans and a slim fitting t-shirt or tank. He is always wearing a simple silver ring hung around his neck by a black string. Though he isn't one for talking about the importance of it to him, he's hardly ever seen without it. A black watch can also be found on his wrist. Though he's much more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, or even a simple pair of sweatpants and a tank, he will dress up if he has to, and I must admit he looks very sharp in a nice set of dress robes.

overall:: If Xander Cedric Olivera's personality had to be summed up into one single word, I would have to say that word would have to be "devoted". He's the type of person to keep to himself at times, but he has friends and can be fun to hang with as well. He usually has only good intentions and is devoted not only to quidditch to most things he takes the time to do. With that said, Xander is just your average guy. He's comfortable being himself, and though there are somethings he doesn't like about himself, he wouldn't change for anyone. If he did change, it would be for himself and no one else.
The outdoors is Xander's haven. He loves being outside where the strong scent of pine from the Forbidden Forest can reach his nose, the wind rustling through the trees and the faint calls of the many animals that live there can reach his ears. Being outside has always been Xander's sort of 'safe house'. Though he loves being outside, he truly dislikes bad weather and the cold winter. he hates having to bundle up, but his heart rests in the bright sunshine of the summer. He also loves being active, having something to do to keep him busy. He takes care of his body, which could mean both that he works out and eats right, though he has been known to slack off. He's not a total health nut by any means.
Xander is known for his devoted, sensitive, shy, and passionate attitude. He tends to be rather flamboyant around his friends but shy and quiet around new people, girls in particular. Other than that, Xander is very confidant in his actions, but he knows his limitations. He isn't quite fond of the loud, obnoxious, happy all the time, smiley type of people, but he hangs out with a variety of people. He won't walk up to someone he doesn't know unless he has reason to. He is average as far as making friends, there are people that just don't feel right to him, and he isn't the greatest at becoming friends with girls. Many people take him to be a stupid jock, but that isn't right. Sure, he's not the smartest person in the world, but he's not dumb. He gets average grades in most of his classes and actually spends time on his work, though the only place you'll see him go the extra mile is on the field. He's an intelligent, sensitive guy that is extremely passionate about flying and wants nothing more than to pursue that as his career.
notes:: He's all about the devotion and passion.

overall:: David grew up you're average wizard, he wasn't pureblood, he had a bit of a mixed background somewhere back there, and he grew up in a middle class family. Kathy on the other hand, grew up a muggle. How, you might ask, did two people from two such different worlds end up meeting? Walking the streets one fine December evening, David was searching for the perfect place to create his Broom Shop. Thinking about the old lot for sale in Diagon Alley, he didn't even notice the woman walking down the sidewalk until it was too late. She was carrying a rather large pile of boxes filled with Christmas supplies, so she was unable to see where she was going all that well. They ran into each other, David stumbled backward, boxes flew everywhere and Kathy ended up on her butt. Apologizing to each other repeatedly, David ended up helping carry the boxes to Kathy's destination. By then it was already too late, the two had already grown on each other.
While their love for each other grew, David had no choice but to tell Kathy of the hidden world of magic that lay right under her nose. Shocked and unbelieving at first, she slowly grew to accept such a world existed. Within a few years the couple was married and shortly after that David was able to purchase the vacant store he had wanted to, with a rather spacious apartment above it. The store was in desperate need of renovation, but with the help of magic and the will they both had, it didn't take long for the old store to become a tidy and popular broom shop. After a while of good business the couple was blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Xander. They were excellent parents and the boy grew up quickly. Four years later the family of three was turned into a family of four with the birth of Ian. The family was happy and Xander grew into a strong young boy that made his father proud.
Growing up around the broom shop and with a dad so passionate about flying and the sport, quidditch was pushed onto Xander at an early age. At first he was unwilling about the sport, but it soon took hold of his attention. His dad always pushing him to do good in sports, he spent a lot of time with his dad and on the quidditch pitch. His mother stayed at home most of the time and while his dad always spent a lot of time with him, he sort of neglected Ian. Ian wasn't into sports or flying. He always wanted to sit inside with his guitar. His mother was closer to Ian. Xander ended up spending many of his summers away from Hogwarts working in the store with his dad, sometimes even sneaking the latest models out of the shop for a test run.
Xander was given a toy broomstick when he was just old enough to walk and got his first real broom for his eighth birthday. He immediately picked it up and was a natural when it came to flying. He fell in love with it and while he always loved to watch quidditch with his dad, he hadn't even begun to love it until he got involved in the sport himself two years later. His love for the sport sky rocketed to an all new level as he learned to play and as he continues to play his love continues to grow. Though his heart lies on the pitch, he does have a life outside of quidditch. He's not like some people who all they do is eat, sleep, and think about the sport. There are other things in his like that he finds important.

roleplay sample:: (can be recycled, and remember, quality before quantity)Xander shook his head at the vocabulary comment. It wasn't his fault he wasn't a genius. He got just good enough grades to pass all his classes, that was it. He didn't need a masterful vocabulary to play quidditch, and that's all he wanted to do. He wanted to become a professional quidditch player and after retiring from playing, teaching the next generation the game and Keeping the spirit alive. "Fine, a prop it is." He laughed, shaking his head, and admitting defeat.
"You better be careful. Your boyfriend might get jealous of us." He laughed teasingly. "Then I'd have to kick his ass and put him back in his place." He smiled, looking down at Ava. He rolled his eyes at her obviously fake expression. "I do too make it to first period. Sometimes. How else do you think I keep my position as quidditch captain? They'd never let me keep the title if I was failing one of my classes." He answered her seriously. He was just really tired this morning. You know those mornings when your alarm goes off and you immediately turn it off. The mornings your brain is screaming at you to get up, but your body is ignoring your brain and just goes back to sleep? That was one of those mornings.
"Ah, but I don't want to know." He laughed, but then she told him anyways. He hated how she did that. He rolled his eyes and couldn't help the slight blush that crept over his cheeks. Even though Ava was his best friend, she was still a girl, and he had a hard time when it came to talking to girls. "Payton, that's right." He said snapping his fingers. "He's that jerk that doesn't deserve a girl like you." He smiled, looking at Ava sideways. He understood the relationship between her and her brother. He realized that he'd always be second when it came between the two boys. Family was more important, but he also knew that there would always be a spot in Ava's heart for him. Just like there would always be a spot for her in his.
Xander leaned back as Ava punched him twice, adding a dramatic effect to his pain act. He fell onto his side and started rolling on the ground, holding his shoulder. He tried to throw in some tears to the mix, but only laughter came out. He was sure that the people walking by were staring. Abruptly he fell silent and returned to his sitting position, leaning against the wall and looking straight ahead. He tried to keep a straight face but after a few long seconds, busted out laughing again. "Right, a harmless crush. With benefits of course." He smiled, looking at Ava indirectly. "Making out in the courtyard." He said in between fake coughs.
Xander laughed, he meant no harm in his comment on her quidditch performance. She was honestly the best he knew, and would have a spot on the team no matter what. He knew she'd be at every practice and give him 200% every time she mounted a broom. And to Xander, that meant more than talent. He shrugged at the compliment, "Yeah, good thing I'm on your team. Oh wait, it's my team." He retorted jokingly.
Xander picked up on the worried expression on Ava's face. He turned to look at her. "I don't care how good the people who tryout are, I know I can count on you to be there. You give it your all every time you go out there, and I can't ask for anything more from anyone." He said smiling at her. "As long as it's my team, you'll always have a spot on it."
notes:: I was gonna use a quidditch or him being shy post, but I like this one...
