eye color:: Hazel
overall:: Well, if you had to place Abi on a scale to rank her looks, she certainly wouldn't be at the top of the scale; however, she wouldn't be at the bottom either. She's beautiful in her awkward, hyper-active, childish sort of way, but she isn't ugly. She's attractive, well, after you get past the bubbly personality and the dirt that can most likely be found on her face.
Abi stands at a just below average height of 5'1". She always smaller than the other kids, though she isn't the smallest anymore. Her weight only clocks in at ninety eight pounds, so she's pretty tiny. She has a very thin build, and everything about her seems fragile. Of course the whole 'seems fragile' thing can be disproved in an instant; the girl has many scars on her body, mainly from her reckless, clumsy attitude. She's rather fit, though it's more of a healthy form of fitness than actual muscle mass or for being active in sports. This slight fitness is simply from her mad dashes to anywhere she wants to go, not to mention she has a rather high metabolism. The girl likes to go places quickly and eats a lot.
Abi's skin has that normal Caucasian white tone to it. You know, the common one. She can be rather pale, especially during the winter, but due to the fact that she's always outside, her skin has taken on a tanned effect. I guess it doesn't help she's always got some sort of dirt on her too. She also has a few freckles dotting her skin, especially her shoulders and arms. Her oval-shaped face is in perfect proportion to her thin body, including all of its wonderful features.
Abi's eyes are a deep hazel, a beautiful color that isn't seem every day. The color is constantly changing and are enough to hold anyone captive. They seem to sparkle even in the faintest of lights and the bright and cheerful emotion caught there is enough to brighten anyone's day. She doesn't wear make up very often, but when she does it doesn't do much more than keep up a natural look. She does like to put lip gloss on though.
Abigail's hair is naturally a dirty blond. However, she's ended up dying it a few times, ranging in color from a brighter, lighter blond to an almost black dark brown. She's tended to stay in the same color range lately though, sticking to her natural color. Her locks are naturally straight, but she loves playing with her hair, so it isn't surprising to see her hair drastically different. Her hair reaches down a good three or four inches past her shoulders at it's longest point, and is layered to frame her face. She usually leaves her locks long, having more freedom to do whatever she wants to with them.
Abi's clothing style changes with each new day. She goes from wearing long, dress-like shirts with tight pants and big head bands and chunky bracelets to wearing more of a punk style with t-shirts with random bands on them and baggier ripped jeans and converse. You can commonly find her mixing styles or wearing something she found randomly. She does like to layer ts and tank tops, and she likes wearing big head bands, earrings, bracelets, and belts. She has a very random style, I guess you could say. She's also been known to randomly walk around the castle in baggy pajama pants and a tank top. It's happened before, and it'll probably happen again. She doesn't care. She doesn't care what others think, she'll wear what she wants to wear.

overall:: Abi has a very... very hyper-active personality, though, sometimes she'll have those bad/off days. She's almost always in a good, or should I say, extremely good mood, and is very outgoing with her emotions. She's a great friend and will keep almost every secret, but some people tend to leave her alone due to her wild and childish actions. She likes to keep others happy as well, but they don't understand her. Her attempts normally don't work, and she ends up running to a friend with a new-found depression. These depressions, however, don't last long. There's just no time! Now, don't get me wrong, Abi is far from childish.... when she wants to be. She's not sheltered from real facts of the world, just her personality seems to have others thinking that way.
To Abi, there's nothing better than living life at it's fullest. She's a very optimistic person, though is sometimes labeled as 'weird', 'over-dramatic', or just plain 'annoying'. She commonly acts on impulse and usually drags her friends around with her from one place to the next. She is, however fairly good at school work, but no better than average. Her short attention span tends to make her day-dream in the middle of class, at least until some kind soul has the heart to bring her back. She also has this extreme fear of anything having to do with hamsters or other forms of small creatures like ferrets, Guinea pigs, and rats. Though this fear does not touch on bunnies. She absolutely adores bunnies. She's also not very patient at times, preferring to see things done and over with quickly.
Abi has been diagnosed with a small case of ADHD. Not that bad, really. She simply gets hyper... or, rather, extremely hyper, and has a tendency to get distracted easily. No, not distracted as in not doing what she's supposed to; more like distracted as in 'running to the park and spotting a candy store out of the corner of her eye; henceforth, forgetting about where she was going and entering the store instead'. Yup, just like that. In fact, I think she's done that before.
As we've covered the hyper-active portion fairly well, I must also advise you not to give the girl sugar. She'll go ballistic, and her words may come so fast that there's little chance you'll understand them. However, as unfortunate as this may seem, she does know how to get sugar for herself, just to let you know and all.
Talking to the girl can also be a bit challenging, since she can ask so many questions at once, that's not it really, sometimes, she may not wait for an answer, instead jumping to a different topic or question. Abi is a rather curious girl, and doesn't hesitate to try to find out all she can. She does have a good mind for random trivia, I guess, considering all the random facts she knows. Just don't be mean to her. Just because she can be childish, hates hamsters, and is a little shorty doesn't mean she won't attack you. I'm not saying that she will inflict all that much damage, but I'd be careful.
notes:: I think she might be slightly crazy.

overall:: Emma was lucky to have married a man like Andrew King, not that she didn't love him. No, the two were crazy about each other. You know, one of those loves that never seem to fade. There were, and still are, a few who disagree, making up their own minds that Emma married Kenneth for his income. That wasn't true; just some frosting on the cake, I guess. Nonetheless, this all lead up to the birth of their two children, Jenna Lou and Abigail Blayne King.
Abi was born into a normal muggle family. They weren't rich, but they weren't poor. They got by and had a bit of extra money to spend on random stuff. Both of her parents worked, her father a successful accountant with an income to support the entire family, and her mother a talented chef in a small restaurant in downtown Arlington, the tiny little town Abi called home. Walking down the street with her older sister, Abi's young eyes locked on a shiny acoustic guitar in the window of a music store and she immediately was obsessed with it. She had to have it, that's all she wanted. Finally she got it for her tenth birthday and she learned quickly.
Emma being a chef, she believed food to be just another median to create art with. She was always open to new ideas, which resulted in their home being brightly colored and Abi being raised with the belief that the greatest power you could ever have was a vivid imagination. Let me tell you, Abi did have one of those. Though she loved to paint and many other forms of art, her heart rested in music and she quickly picked up songwriting. She quickly became a talented young guitarist, forcing anyone she could to listen to her songs.
Abi went to school starting when she was five, just like every other normal muggle child. She was popular, though her teachers always told her parents she had a problem staying focused and that being social seemed to come before her studies in her mind. Her parents were shocked when she got her letter and couldn't believe what was going on. Though they still don't understand everything about the magical world or the things their daughter is learning, they couldn't be more proud and are extremely supportive. They told all her friends from school that she was being sent to a boarding school, and she keeps in touch with them through her parents and during summers.
She instantly accepted everything the magical world had to offer and couldn't wait to learn more about it. She was eager to go to Hogwarts and fell in love with the school almost immediately after setting foot in the castle. Hogwarts became her favorite place in the world and she couldn't imagine ever leaving the school for good. She loves hanging out with her friends and aimlessly walking through the grounds when it rains, especially during the spring.

roleplay sample:: (can be recycled, and remember, quality before quantity)Abbey smiled (I actually don't think she's ever stopped smiling.) "I like meeting people. I love talking to new people. They're so interesting. There was this one time at the train station, I had a long time to wait before the Hogwarts Express left so I walked around the muggle part of the station and just asked them random questions. A lot of people just looked at me strangely and walked away but others stood there and held a conversation with me. Then I'd ask them if they believed in magic. Most people said they didn't, I told them it was a shame and walked away." Abbey told her. She nodded as she ran through her story in her head before continuing. "You're probably right, I wouldn't have met so many people if I didn't come here. You're so smart, it's a wonder you're not in Ravenclaw." She laughed. She admired the older Hufflepuff.
Abbey joked a look of hurt on her face as Jen mentioned the penguins leaving in the middle of her show. "They would not! They would love my music and they all would be dancing and singing along with my lyrics. It would be so much fun." She stated, by the time she had finished her thought the smile had returned to her face. She nodded.
"Yeah, I hate the winter. It's so black and white and cold and there isn't any sunlight. I like the spring better, when it rains a whole bunch and the flowers are growing and it's warm outside and the sun's always out and the birds are singing and the colors are bright outside!" She rambled. She loved thinking about the spring time. She couldn't wait for it to return to her. She was already starting to miss the bright colors and the fresh smell in the air. Abbey was happy the older Hufflepuff was starting to catch some of her hyper-ness, after all, babbling was fun.
"I wouldn't doubt that the bubble thing is possible. I mean we do live in a magical world. You would look funny bouncing around among the penguins in a giant heated bubble." Abbey stopped, trying to picture the scene. She giggled to herself. "Do you play any instrument?" She asked, glancing down at the now silent, guitar in her own lap.
notes:: She likes penguins.
