eye color:: Hazel
overall:: Well, if you had to place Ash on a scale to rank her looks, she wouldn't be at the top of the scale; however, she wouldn't be at the bottom either. She's beautiful in her own unique way, and she's certainly not ugly. She's attractive, well, after you get past the attitude and boy like qualities.
Ash's eyes are beautiful, the color not something you see every day. Their hazel depths are constantly changing and are enough to hold anyone captive. They seem to sparkle even in the faintest of lights and the hard emotion found there at times is enough to stun anyone. Her make-up is something she doesn't care much about. Everything she puts on from eye shadow to lip-gloss doesn't do much more than keep up a natural look.
Ash has a full, oval shaped face that holds a soft, somewhat muscular appearance. She has soft, rounded features and a natural beauty about her. Her lips are between thin and plump, average, but they add to her elegant features. She tends to keep them hydrated and makes sure they don't dry out, but it doesn't take much. The rest of her face is just as soft and natural looking. She has a thin, curving nose and arching, perfectly groomed eyebrows that match her hair color. Her skin is smooth and always somewhat tan.
As far as her body type goes, she isn't stick thin, but she certainly isn't chunky either. You could say she has a slightly curvy, athletic build, giving her a nice, healthy look. She is tall for a girl, with lean muscles that are just barely noticeable. She keeps herself a bit active, keeping her body in rather decent shape. She has broad shoulders and a lean, but curvy physique. She has sleek muscles, and isn't afraid to be in the middle of a fist fight. Ash has naturally auburn, wavy hair that falls just barely below her shoulder blades. Her beautiful hair is seldom dyed a different color, already having natural highlights and lowlights. In the summertime sun, it turns almost blond.
Ash has never been one to spend a whole lot of time in the mornings getting ready. She's never been a morning person, so she gives herself just enough time to get ready. Ash, like many of the girls, never actually wears her uniform the way it's supposed to be worn. Most of the time she trades in the simple black flats for a pair of black boots. She refuses to wear skirts, so instead she wears a simple pair of black dress pants. She doesn't button the top two buttons of her shirt and she never has her shirt tucked in. Her tie is always hung loose around her neck as well.
While not in her uniform, she wears a variety of clothing, however she can usually be found in a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt of some kind. She doesn't dress all too feminine, going along with her tomboy personality. She always has a watch on her wrist and most times a necklace of some sort. She has her ears pierced and does wear earrings most of the time, but that is usually as far as she'll go. She can usually be found wearing a pair of black converse or flip flops.

overall:: Overall, huh? Well, what can I say? If Ashelin Rebecca Messner's personality had to be summed up into one single word, it'd have to be 'tomboy'. She's always got some sort of quick defensive comeback for anything anyone has to say to her, and she's always placing herself among the boys. To say the least, Ash isn't your typical girl, though she may look like it at first. She's very comfortable with the way she is, and refuses to change for anything. She's always been confidant with who she is and has always hung with the boys, no matter what people try to tell her, she'll never change. You can always count on her acting like herself, whether that means expressing herself through the pictures she takes, or beating the boys at quidditch.
Music and the outdoors have always been Ash's escape. She loves being able to climb trees or fly up in the sky, having her music pounding in her ears. Being able to smell the forest and hear the peaceful sounds of the waves breaking on the shore of the lake and the faint calls of animals in the forest, it's just the perfect place for her. It's like her safe house and she can stay there for hours. She isn't one for the cold, dull winter. She loves being able to run barefoot and the warm summer sun. The summer has always been her favorite season, even if that means being forced from Hogwarts. She can't stand being couped up inside all day, and there are times she just has to get up and move around. She can be a very active person and always has a way to keep her friends on their toes.
Ash is known for her confidant, easy-going, laid back attitude. She can come off as cool and collected, but she has a bit of a short temper and a snappy mouth. She is creative and gets average grades, taking what she gets and turning it into something entirely different. She hangs out with a great variety of people from many different houses, her laid back attitude making it rather easy to become friends with her. Unfortunately, she is easy to decide whether she likes you or not and she's not afraid to tell you if she doesn't like you. She won't hesitate from telling it like it is and doesn't believe in masking the truth. She is extremely loyal to her closer friends and will go to the ends of the earth for them. She is very devoted and would sacrifice anything for them.
Ash tends to hang with the guys more than the girls, and in doing so has been exposed to her friends crushing on her. She's gone out with a few people here and there, but none that she's actually been that strongly attracted to. A few flings here and there, a couple one night stands after a rather intense party. She still waits for the right guy to come around and sweep her off her feet, though she won't let anyone know it.
notes:: I never realized how much like Chris Ash was until I was writing her personality.

overall:: Edward was born into a normal muggle family, Kimberly into a normal wizarding family. They met in a small cafe one morning while having coffee before heading into work. Edward had just moved into Texas and was very flamboyant and confidant in his actions. Kimberly kept more to herself, but couldn't help her attention being drawn to the muggle sitting next to her at the bar. They began talking and by the time they had finished with their coffees and were about to part ways for work, they were already hooked and exchanged information. The two began dating shortly after their fateful encounter in the cafe and seemed to be a wonderful couple.
Within a year and a half time the couple was married and were happily settled in with each other. Deciding that it would be easier for the both of them, Kimberly decided to keep her magical background a secret, giving it up for a muggle life with the man she loved. Edward was a successful architect, and Kimberly a nurse. Just under two years of smooth marriage, the couple was blessed with a beautiful baby girl they immediately decided to name Ashelin Rebecca Messner. Upon bringing the baby home from the hospital, Kimberly chose to quit her job and stay at home. Things were going great for the happy family until that unfortunate night a year and a half later.
Edward and Kimberly had been going through a rough spot in their marriage, the finances were starting to get a bit tight and Edward had been working long hours. Like every other typical night there recently, he was working late and Kimberly had chosen to use magic in order to tidy the house up quickly before Edward got home. She had resulted to using magic quite often in her house keeping, and had never had any problems. The vacuum as well as the mop were both working on their own, the dishes were cleaning themselves, and the baby toys were picking themselves up. No problem, right? Unfortunately, Edward returned to the house earlier than expected, hoping it would be a pleasant surprise for Kimberly, only to walk in on the magical madness.
Mystified and confused about the things he saw, Kimberly was forced to explain everything. Unbelieving and incredulous that his wife had kept such important information from him, Edward left in a rage. He got into his car and sped away. Kimberly was devastated and prayed that their marriage would mend itself from this vital blow. When another day went by and Edward still hadn't as much as called or returned, Kimberly began to get worried. Two days later, a horrible phone call nearly sent her into depression. Edward had been in a terrible accident and died on the scene. Unable to deal with the grief, Kimberly picked up everything without a seconds notice and moved away from America, back to London where she had grown up.
Not wanting to make the same mistake she made with Edward, Kimberly made sure she raised Ashelin completely aware of the magic she might inherit. Relief rushed through Kimberly as signs of magic began to appear in Ash as she grew older. It was a very happy day when she got her letter the summer after her eleventh birthday. Though there was nothing wrong with her home, Ash grew to think of Hogwarts as more of a home. She also refrained from talking about her father. It wasn't embarrassing, she just hated people pitying her. She's fairly close to her mother, but when Kimberly realized Ash wasn't as feminine as she may have hoped, she began forcing things onto her. This damaged their relationship, but no matter what Kimberly forced onto her, Ash never budged and remained who she was.

roleplay sample:: (can be recycled, and remember, quality before quantity)Ash nearly jumped out of her skin as her alarm clock screamed on the side table near her bed. Simultaneously she groaned and pounded the clock into silence. She loathed the stupid thing, but it was a necessity. Her muscles relaxed again and she curled back up in the warmth of her blankets. Slowly, she began to drift back into the world of sleep. Yet again, her alarm clock screamed and Ash silenced it once more.
Again, she groaned, but slipped from her bed. She yawned and stretched. She heard, as well as felt her back pop and loosen. Feeling a bit more awake, she slumped into her bathroom to get ready. Her mom was at work, go figure, and Ash was alone in the house. She showered quickly and dressed, pulling on a simple pair of faded jeans and a black t-shirt. She pulled her wavy hair into a messy ponytail and grabbed her messenger bag from her room. Yet again, she'd have to do her school shopping alone.
What felt like ages later, Ash walked into the dark shop only magical folk could see. She didn't even bother to glance at the sign, she already knew it read "the Leaky Cauldron". She nodded at the bartender, giving him a small smile, before moving out another door. Brainlessly she moved into Diagon Alley. Obviously she wasn't the only student doing they're school shopping, she noticed as the glanced around the bustling streets.
She didn't mind doing her shopping by herself, she didn't mind the crowds either. A group of girls laughing together caught her eyes. It would just be nice to have someone there. Shopping was fun, it was just more fun when someone was there to share it with.
