Saturday night after all. Okay, so 'night' may be a bit of an over-statement. It was tchnically only 5:30, and Lilyth had placed herself outside on the school's front lawn to watch the sunset. Yes, it was fairly out of character for her to sit down and watch something like that. Or so it would seem. Lilyth had always loved watching both sunsets and sunrises. So really, it wasn't that odd for her to have rooted herself under one of the many large trees that dotted the grounds to watch the sun slowly sink behind the mountains. Anyway, back to how she was dressed about the farthest thing from school attire. She wore a simple long sleeved back T-shirt on her upper body. Well, it used to be a black long-sleeved shirt. That is, until Lilyth had taken the siccors to it five minutes after she bought it. Now the sleeves had various slits up and down them, exposing areas of her arms. To counter-act the amountof skin shown on her arms, Lilyth had left the neck-line of the shirt alone, so that it was showing no skin on her chest at all. Her lower body was clad in a pair of jean shorts. Just regular, plain old jean shorts. But of course, that would be too boring for someone like Lilyth. So underneath the jean shorts, she'd thrown on a pair of black fish-net stockings. And if that didn't make her outfit out-there enough, on her feet were boots. Yup, ankle high brown leather zip-up boots with a two linch heel on them. Her natural white-blonde hair was half-dyed a bright orange. The top of her hair was dyed, while the under sides of it was left to be blonde. Having left her hair down, Lilyth had thrown on a pair of huge, pink hoop earrings. Lovely right? Okay, maybe that's the wrong word. But it was very Lilyth. Feelings the grass tickle her exposed legs, Lilyth shifted her weight once again. It wasn't that she was uncomfortable, but it seemed like very time she shifted her weight she got stabbed with twenty million blades of grass. All the same, she was enjoying the sunset immensley. The thing that confused Lilyth though, was the fact that no one else was out on the lawn that evening. In Lilyth's mind, anyone who could avoid such an amazing natural wonder just couldn't appriciate true beauty. All the same, she didn't bother worrying about it. Instead she turned her eyes back towards the sunset. Leaning back against the strong tree behind her, Lilyth closed her eyes for a moment. he just wanted to savor the moment for a while. It had been a good two months since she'd been able to watch a sunset like this one.[/ul]

Something was very wrong with this picture. It was bright and early on a Saturday evening, and Keilan Donahue was alone in the Slytherin's dungeon doing his homework. Now, that's not to say it's strange to see him doing his homework (it's not only the Ravenclaw's who actually try and get good grades), but he was not normally the kind of guy who would waste the first day of his weekend by doing a a Herbology report on fanged geraniums. As interesting as the plant might sound, writing about it was not.
Keilan placed his pen down and leaned over the back of his chair, observing the black and green colored common room from upside down. There was a pair of first years playing wizards chess in the corner, but other from that it was rather empty. He couldn't even hear that much noise being made in the dorm rooms. 'Wonder if I missed an owl about a party or something,' he mused silently, sitting straight up in the chair again. With a quick glance at his watch, he saw it was only a bit past 5 o'clock. He briefly wondered if there might be something going on outside at the lawns. It's not like he would be able to tell, seeing as the Slytherin commonroom was built in a dungeon. A slight design flaw in his opinion...one didn't even know how to dress for the weather.
With his mind suddenly made up, Keilan pushed his homework towards the corner of the desk, assuming that no one was going to bother it. He then strolled out of the portrait door, and winded his way around Hogwarts until he reached an exit. To his slight disappointment, the lawns were currently just as empty as his previous surrounding, but before he turned back, he noticed a figure relaxing against a tree not to far away. Curious, he wandered a little bit closer from behind, and soon a small smile appeared on his face as he recognized the girl.
While he and Lilyth were currently in the "off" stage of their relationship, he was thankful they were able to remain friends. In truth, it had been a while since they talked, but he still cared about her...maybe more than he should. Keilan walked with his hands hidden in the pockets of his black hoodie as he approached her quietly, hoping to gain the element of surprise. When he was finally standing behind the tree she was sitting against, he bent down a little lower so he was just behind her ear. "The color actually reminds me a bit of your hair," he said, referring to the sunset. Keilan's tone was obviously teasing, though the truth was he had always loved that her hair was so vibrant and unique.

Lilyth mused silently to herself, eyes still remaining closed. There was no denying that Lilyth was a fan of photography. Trying to capture the beauty and essence of moments of the world around her seemed like such a huge task, and Lilyth would always try to convince herself that she was up to the challenge. Of course, nine times out of ten her photos never measured up to what she had been hoping. Allt he same, Lilyth adored trying. When she was just starting to reach the point where she wanted to open her eyes again, Lilyth heard an all too familiar whisper in her ear. Somehow, she knew she wasn't just imagining it either. Her heart beating rapidly partially from the surprise of hearing someone speak, and partially from thinking it was Keilan who had spoken, Lilyth quickly opened her eyes and moved her head so she was able to look him in the eye. Finding herself gazing into the recognizable eyes of Keilan, Lilyth grinned and tried to play it off as if she hadn't been surprised at all. “I’ll choose to take that as a compliment.”Allowing an over-exaggerated smirk place itself onto her lips, Lilyth grabbed Keilan by the neck with both her arms and tried to pull him down next to her. When she was un-successful, Lilyth released her grasp of his neck and decided that she should probably ask Keilan if he wanted to sit. "Take a seat Keilan, the show's about to begin." Scooting over to show that she was more than willing to share her tree, Lilyth tried her hardest to put on a 'come-and-sit' face. Truth be told though, Lilyth had never been able to make Keilan do something he really didn't want to do. Most things though, she could usually talk him into.[/ul]
