Charity practically bounded down the steps, not an easy feat in a plaid wool miniskirt. But the fact that she was wearing grey tights made the whole thing less stripper-esque. But honestly, Charity didn't really care. All she wanted to see was Xander. But that didn't mean she was going to look ugly. Her grey sweater clung to her curves and was nicely paired with her black and tan plaid mini. She wore tan uggs to complete her outfit. Sure, it was a completely muggle outfit, but she didn't care.
She looked around the common room, expecting to see him already there. He wasn't. She sighed frustratedly. She didn't want to wait another moment to see him but it looked like shed have to. Ah well, cant have everything we want. She paced the common room, heaving frustrated sighs nearly every step. My, my someones impatient.

Xander glanced at the watch on his wrist, crap he was going to be late meeting Charity in the common room. He jogged up the stairs and through the corridors to the fat lady's portrait. He mumbled the password to her and slipped inside. His baggy jeans were held to his waist by a black leather belt and he wore a black button up shirt. It was untucked, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and the collar was flipped out. Two of the top buttons were undone and his usual silver chain hung around his neck. A simple pair of black converse covered his feet.
Stepping quietly into the common room, he smiled as he noticed Charity pacing the room. Without her noticing, he slipped around the hole and leaned against the wall. Folding his arms across his chest, he called to her. "Hey, you ready to go?" He asked, chuckling slightly. He looked her up and down, noticing how good she looked in her outfit.

The frustrated sighs continued. As did the pacing. Charity wasnt a very patient person. Then a voice snapped her out of her focus. She whipped around to see Xander standing there. She sighed. Yeah. I guess. She said, acting like she didnt really want to go.
But then she couldn't contain herself any longer. She walked over to his side and kissed his cheek tenderly. But the real question is, Are you ready? She smiled mischievously.
((blech, short sorry))

((And your punishment: a short reply from me. No I'm joking I don't really mind.)) As Xander watched Charity pace the common room, sighing frequently he figured she was either really impatient, or angry he wasn't there on time. Due to her reply however, he was almost certain it was the first. He gave her a small smile and returned his arms to his sides, pulling himself up off the wall.
His cheeks turned pink as she kissed him, he couldn't help it and his smile widened. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he pulled her closer to him, kissing her gently on the lips. Pulling away, he looked down at her. Nodding, he released her. "Well, let's go." He chuckled, holding his arm out for her. He didn't know exactly what he had gotten himself into, but he was pretty sure it was all going to turn out okay.

Charity sighed contentedly after he kissed her. So, this is what a crush felt like? She was pretty sure she liked the feeling, as new as it was. She smiled up at him for a moment before slipping her hand into his and following him out the portrait hole.
((fastforward to hogsmede))
The air was slightly chilled as it hit her skin, but Charity hardly noticed. All she was really aware of was the tall, handsome boy next to her. Her face was still slightly flushed, but she prayed it looked that way from the cold, even though she knew it was teh exact opposite. She looked up at Xander. So, where to first?

Xander couldn't help the smile on his face as they walked into Hogsmeade. Who would have thought he would be in the small town with a beautiful girl. The October breeze was chilling as it lazily made its way through the streets, hitting Xander gently. Though he wasn't really wearing anything warm, he could hardly feel the wind. He still couldn't believe the fact that there was an amazing girl walking beside him. Was this all just some wicked dream?
He looked down at her sideways, noticing the slight flush on her cheeks, though he thought it was just from the chilly air. He raised his eyebrows as she asked where to go first. He glanced around the nearby stores, shrugging slightly. "I was going to let you choose." He stated, glancing back at her.

Charity leaned into Xander as they moved through the streets. She was just so... content. Yes, content was a good word for how she was feeling right now, feeling like nothing could go wrong. She smiled slightly as he spoke, letting her choose.
Her eyes flitted across the stores, deciding which one she wanted to enter first. Her gaze settled on one and a slow smile spread on her face. Honeydukes? She asked. I"m in the mood for something sweet. She looked up at Xander and smiled slightly.

Xander couldn't help but smile as the girl beside him leaned closer to him. They slowly made their way down the streets, and the Gryffindor's eyes danced from one sign to the the next waiting to see where the beautiful girl beside him wanted to go first. It was safe to say Xander had not the faintest clue what he was doing, and he was making it up as he went. But, from they way Charity was acting, he thought he was doing something right.
As Charity spoke, she pulled him from his thoughts and he looked down at her. A small smile appeared on his face. "Honeydukes it is," he replied, leading her into the warmth of the small candy shop. His green eyes lit up as they scanned across the many masses of candy, but he was going to let Charity choose what she wanted first. ((I gots an idea and I'm not telling!))

((aww, please??!?!))
Charity's eyes lit up as she entered the store. In a matter of split seconds she had become like a little kid in.. well.. in a candy store. She looked around, unable to decide where to go or what to buy first. Yeah, let this girl in a candy store and she reverts back about ten years. Her hazel eyes danced and it was apparent she was excited.
She looked over at Xander and saw in his own eyes the excitement in hers. What do you want? she asked. [/b]I cant decide![/b] Charity laughed. Her eyes darted around the small, brightly lit shop again.[/blockquote][/size]

((Trust me)) It was one thing to enter a muggle candy store, but it's something completely different to enter a wizard candy store. There was a certain warmth within the store that would make even the darkest of souls light up. It was like there was a spell placed on every single person as they entered, making them act like a little kid again.
Xander hardly noticed the fact that Charity was acting like a kid. His own eyes had lit up and he scanned the towering shelves of candy eagerly. His fingers interlaced with the beautiful girl's beside him and he smiled at her. "You," he said simply as she asked what he wanted. His green eyes averted to a rather wonderful looking row of chocolate. His ears had turned a bit red.

((ok))
Charity squeezed his hand eagerly as she looked around. It was his answer to her question that threw her. You. She turned to look at him, thinking this was some kind of joke. Sure, guys had wanted her in the past, but she had a feeling that Xander didnt quite mean what they had meant. His eyes were looking at more candy, but his ears had turned a slight shade of crimson.
Charity flushed slightly before standing on her toes to kiss his cheek. Then you have me. She whispered in his ear. She snuggled closer to him, feeling happier than she had in ages.

Xander wasn't joking when he had answered her question. Though in retrospect he thought his answer was stupid. His blush spread from his ears up to his cheeks as she kissed him. Turning, his eyes met hers and a smile appeared on his face. He wrapped his arms around her waist, returning her kiss.
"Be mine?" he whispered, resting his forehead on hers. He didn't care who else was in the store, or who else saw them. All that mattered was the girl in front of him. ((*pokes Caddy* Why are they whispering?))

((-squeels when poked- i dunno.. it seemed... romantic? lol.))
Charity smiled at Xander as he turned to look at her. She couldnt help it. She was just so... happy around him. She smiled briefly against his lips as he kissed her back before returning it in kind. She looked at him for a moment after he asked her the question. Yes. The Question. HE wanted her to be his.
Her smile widened and she practically screamed YES! The shout probably startled everyone in the shop, but Charity didnt care. She threw her arms around Xander's neck and kissed him hard, not caring who saw them at that moment.

The seconds it took Charity to answer his question seemed to draw on. He though back to all the rumors he had heard about the girl and wondered if this could be some sick joke she had thought up. He began to beat himself up internally as the time drew on and on.
He didn't realize he was holding his breath until he let it out as she finally answered him. A large, toothy smile appeared on his features, his green eyes sparkled happily. He wrapped his strong arms around her waist and lifted her up as she wrapped her own arms around his neck. He returned the kiss before slowly setting Charity back on her feet and pulling away. A smile still remained on his face.
"Have you decided what kind of candy you want yet?" He asked with a bit of a chuckle.

Charity smiled as Xander held her. Everything just felt so right when she was with him. She giggled as he picked her up. Everything just felt like she was six again and she was playing a game in kindergarten. It all just felt so fresh and new.
She smiled as he asked her about candy. I dunno. She murmured as she leaned in closer to him. I got a bit distracted. She said with a grin. She kissed his cheek for a moment, her brown eyes sparkling happily.A sugar quill? She asked, more to herself than to Xander. Lord knew she rarely paid actual attention in class anyway.
