Just Stay With Me ------------------------------------------------------- and hold me close
It had been over a month since she had left Hogwarts. Her father had died and she had lost Jaedyn, there was just nothing going right with her right now and Portia just could not stand it. Luckily Portia had Peyton and he had been with her throughout the entire time. The funeral had been Portias worst nightmare but thank god she had her closest friend to be there with her. Afterward had been a nightmare as well, Portia just stood there listless watching her fathers stallion galloping in the paddock. Navarano was trying to get to her father's grave but he knew he couldnt jump that high a fence. Portia had cried the entire time as people walked up to her and tried to get her into a conversation, she hated that. Within the next few days Portia learned that everything her family owned of course had been given to her. Including her fathers beloved Andalusian stallion, the mansion and everything in it. The entire Calpurnic estate was hers and not her brothers. Hugh had been rather upset about it at first, but then when he got his fathers letter he understood. Hugh was the type to run around a lot and not stay in one place for too long, so what was the point in giving him the estate. Portia however would stay home and have a family. This was no easy decision for anyone.
Now Portia and Peyton had been back for only a couple of days. Navarano was stabled next to Portias own stallion Legolas, and everything was back to normal. Well not everything. Portia was back to her old habits wounds appearing on her arms and legs, now that it was getting colder Portia could wear jeans and a jacket and cover everything up. Some of the girls in her dorm knew what was going on but none of them bothered to help her, and Portia would never tell Peyton. Grabbing her guitar Portia headed out into the lawn with only one person on her mind. Jaedyn. She had lost him before she left and now she couldnt get him off her mind. That was another reason Portia had began cutting again. There were so many cuts on both of her arms and her legs that Portia had became pale. Everyone noticed but they all seemed to think that she was just sick and grieving. Both of which were correct but they did not know just how sick she really was.
She had written Jaedyn a song. Well it could go for both her father and Jaedyn, the two men that Portia loved most and lost. Walking out into the lawn Portia looked around and noticed that everyone was staring at her. Portia had been the kind of girl that everyone envied, that everyone wanted to be. And now look at her. A pitifl person that no one wanted to be around at all. She used to be so happy and smiling all the time but now she just did not care. Sitting cross legged in the middle of the lawn the cold air carying her long black hair as it turned a white transparent with every breeze that hit her. Portias eyes were the deepest of grey that anyone had ever seen. Then she began to sing, her voice never faltering.
Raindrops, Fall From, Everywhere I Reach Out, For You, But Your Not There So I Stood, Waiting, In The Dark With Your Picture, In My Hands Story Of a Broken Heart
Stay With Me Don't Let Me Go Cause I Can't Be Without You Just Stay With Me And Hold Me Close Because I've Built My World Around You And I Don't Wanna Know What's It Like Without You So Stay with Me Just Stay With Me
I'm Trying And Hoping, For The Day When my touch is enough To Take The Pain Away Cause I've Searched For So Long The Answer Is Clear We'll be OK if We Don't Let It Disappear
Stay With Me Don't let Me go Cause I Can't Be Without You Just Stay With Me And Hold Me Close Because I've Built My World Around You And I Don't Wanna Know What's it Like Without You So Stay with Me Just Stay With Me
I've searched my heart over So many many times No you and I, is like no stars to light the sky at night Our Picture Hangs Out Of Tune Remind Me Of The Days You Promised Me We'd Always And Never Go Away That's Why I Need You To Stay
Stay With Me Don't let Me go Cause I Can't Be Without You Just Stay With Me And Hold Me Close Because I've Built My World Around You And I Don't Wanna Know What's It Like Without You So Stay with Me Just Stay With Me
oooo.. oh oh don't leave so I stay waiting in the dark... ooc: done [/blockquote][/blockquote]

He’d been devastated when she’d left. He’d felt like so many things had gone wrong—things he’d never imagined could—and had felt all kinds of guilt. Of course, the past few weeks he’d forgotten that guilt; that self-hatred. Whether the wound was fading on its own, or Anastasia and Xander had done their parts as friends was a mystery to him, but Jaedyn had thought he’d gotten over Portia. Well, except for the whole “confronting her” part.
Imagine his shock when he’d stepped outside to find her seated in the middle of the lawn, singing. He’d stopped not fifteen feet from her, looking down at the grass as he listened to her play. His hands fiddled with the hem of his grey-green t-shirt, with the cuffs of his navy blazer, anything really. His white vans scuffed against the ground almost silently, and eventually he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jeans. His golden hair danced around his head with the wind, and he was oddly reminded of how it needed trimmed.
Why was she doing this to him? How could he have been fine a second later, but after seeing her—hearing her—once more, he was hiding back inside himself, guilty as ever. He swallowed past the lump in his throat as she finished, shoving all of this guilt aside and looking up to search her face with his blue eyes. Tensing his jaw, Jayd shook his head softly, dropping his gaze back to the ground and turning slowly, brushing a hand through his hair and attempting to decide whether to talk to her or go back to the castle. Either way … well, he’d still feel the same, most likely.

Just Stay With Me ------------------------------------------------------- and hold me close
Portia just sat there and sang, pouring her heart out to everyone who was listening. Little did she know that the everyone included Jaedyn. The blonde headed handsome boy was just standing there not saying a single word. Upon seeing him many of the people around Portia dispersed, everyone in the school knew about their history and definetely did not want to get into the way. There was one thing that Portia didnt understand. Why was she the one in pain? She had done nothing wrong..all she had done was get her heart broken and then leave for her father funeral. Maybe it was just the fact that she had left at all...maybe she should have stayed. Then maybe her and Jaedyn would still be together. Portia could not even remember why they had begun to have problems in the first place. The list was long and something that Portia did not keep on her mind all the time. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone had their faults..but he was punishing her for hers.
Looking up Portia sighed slightly when she saw Jaedyn standing there. Of course he would be there with her luck. Getting to her feet Portia took her guitar and looked right into his eyes. She was tired of fighting and the pain was evident in her eyes not to mention in every move she made. I wrote that song for you. There were tears coming into her eyes but she stood strong. Beginning to walk away Portia began to think and streaks of red appeared in the grey hair and her eyes shined a bright auburn. Turning around and with tears streaming down Portias face she walked towards Jaedyn and looked at him with the fire that was the old Portia. you know there is something that I dont understand. Why am I the one in pain when I did nothing wrong. I loved you then. And even after all that you put me through I STILL LOVE YOU! Portia practically screamed before she just walked off. Grabbing her guitar Portia headed towards the barn, the expensive pair of scissors sitting in her pocket. Why did she have to be this way?
Entering the barn Legolas and Nava were the first to greet her. The large white Andalusian stallion and the large black one seemed to completely contrast. And the fact that they were brothers no one would ever tell. They even had joint stalls together. Laying her guitar on the stall door Portia walked in and was almost knocked over by both the horses that wanted affection but Portia just pushed them aside and sat herself down at the far end. Tears still streaming down her face Alayna pulled out her scissors and sliced away at her wrists that already had slices up to her elbows. This time though the wounds were MUCH deeper then she normally did them as she continued to cry and just rock herself back and forth. The poor stallions they did not know what to do and just tried to comfort her, until Alayna lost so much blood that she passed out. Well she wasnt exactly passed out but she was listless. Eye lids drooping as she swayed back and forth. The words that she spoke you could barely understand. ooc: done kinda stinks im sorry [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Jaedyn knew the song was for him. The fight they were having—if you could even call it that—had come out of virtually no where, leaving both of them hurt and confused. Jaedyn had blamed himself, but … well, when Portia spoke once more, he couldn’t help but tense up again. His jaw clenched and his fingers dug into his palms. He wasn’t going to hit her or anything—no, God no, he’d never do something like that—but … was she blind?
He grabbed her forearm when she turned to walk away, turning her back so he could meet her eyes and say his own piece. “Are you blind, Portia? You think I haven’t been through hell and back this past month? You think every fucking thing between us is my fault?” He shook his head, eyes pleading almost. He wanted her to understand—to see that he wasn’t the only one at fault. At least he knew that. “You can’t go around blaming me for everything, Portia. This whole thing is as much your fault as it is mine.” He let go of her arm, speaking a bit more calmly this time, running a hand through his hair once more.
If she didn’t understand … so be it, but he had to try. “Jacob, Portia?” he asked, his voice pained. He was looking away from her, not wanting to see her reaction at that point in time. For the first time, Jaedyn was wondering if he ever actually loved Portia, or if she ever loved him back. If she had—if the words she spoke were true—then what was all this about her hanging all over guys like Jacob? It made no sense.
He didn’t follow her at first; he was attempting to sort out his thoughts, trying to find out what—exactly—went wrong between them. He’d never pinpointed that one, actually, not even when they started fighting. He looked up at the barn after a few minutes, deciding to follow her just incase. She couldn’t … he couldn’t have her hurt herself, and she hadn’t come out of there with a horse or anything yet, so … that really only left a few things. Entering the barn, Jaedyn’s gaze went first to Portia’s panicked horses, pushing into the stall and past them to get to her.
He snatched the scissors from her hand, pocketing them and determined to never give them back. “Portia …” he muttered, pulling one of her arms straight to examine what she’d done to herself. He swallowed and pulled out his wand, healing her wounds with a simple spell. He lifted her chin with his fingers, looking into her listless eyes solemnly. That was one thing he couldn’t do—bring her around. Brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear, he stood up and made his way to the other end of the stall, leaning against the wall and petting one of the horses’ noses when it was offered. [[ wow >.> I was close to tears writing the first part of this … ]]

Just Stay With Me ------------------------------------------------------- and hold me close
“Are you blind, Portia? You think I haven’t been through hell and back this past month? You think every fucking thing between us is my fault?” Portia looked him right in the eye. So this feeling she was having wasnt just with her. It was Jaedyn as well. He was feeling the same pain that she was feeling and quite frankly Portia was happy for it. “You can’t go around blaming me for everything, Portia. This whole thing is as much your fault as it is mine.” Ripping her arm out of his grasp Portia's hair turned a deep dark red so badly that it was almost a purple color. Eyes flared with a fire that had not been there for oh so long. Thats just it Jaedyn its not OUR fault. Either of us. It came from rumors being spread and it tore the both of us apart. and with that Portia stood firm not wanting to leave just yet until Jae was willing to explain himself. Portia had heard rumors abour Jaedyn but the worst were the ones spread about herself. “Jacob, Portia?” The first thought that came to Portia's mind was what the hell?
Jacob? Portia's body was changing at will between anger, confusion and pain. There were so many colors and changes that now so many people were looking at Portia in aw wishing that they could achieve what Portia was doing. Nothing happened between me and Jacob. Jacob is a friend and nothing more than that. He was helping me with something that you were not around for. Tears began to stream down Portias face as she ran into the barn. Laying inbetween the horses Portia could feel the warmth leaving her and quite frankly she did not care. How could Jaedyn think that Portia would do anything with Jacob, he was just a close friend and nothing more than that. Jaedyn should know that Portia loved him and she would not have done anything to risk loosing him. All those dumbass people who were more than willing to get into the popular peoples affairs and make their lives hell. Now Portia was only a leaf on the wind.
“Portia …” Her eyes fluttered the horses immediately moving out of Jaedyns way so that he could help Portia. The horses knew she was in trouble and they knew that they could not help her. Legolas moved right behind Jaedyn nckering towards Portia affectionately. Everyone at Hogwarts knew the bond that Portia and Legolas shared and the stallion adored her so. Portia lay there feeling Jaedyn examine her arm but she was so weak that she could do nothing about it. A strange sensation went through Portia and she knew what it was. Jaedyn was healing her. Eyes opening they were a bright gray as if she was already dead. Why did you do that? Portia said choking back the tears that so badly wanted to come out. There were already tear stains all over her face, making her even more splotchy. What happened to us Jaedyn...She said softly her head drooping and her eyes on him. Legolas moved to her left and laid down next to her the large white unicorn nuzzling her shouldar gently. Legolas was Numinors son, the heir to the thrown of the herd. But Legolas preferred to be with Portia and keep an eye on her. ooc: done im determined to get this done ASAP i know Portia is REALLY depressed... and its soo hard to play when im not in the least depressed at all. they need to get back together.lol [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Jaedyn stared right back at her, clearly not about to back down and take the blame for whatever had gone wrong. He was sick of her making him out to be the bad guy; he was sick of having to be the guilty one. The Gryffindor boy’s jaw was set, and there was little moving him from where he stood. Dropping his arm when she pulled her own from his hand, Jayd shoved his hands back into his pockets, still not breaking the stare. His eyes began to soften a bit—Jae was never an angry person—but he stopped feeling guilty as soon as Portia visibly got angry.
“Yes, Jacob. Jacob and Stephen and whomever the hell else” Jaedyn shook his head, dropping his gaze and brushing a hand through his hair. It was clear that he wasn’t just making these accusations up, and he wasn’t taking from rumors either. He’d seen her hanging out with other guys, none of which really bothered him aside from Stephen, but… Well, he recalled how she’d flirt with other boys as well as him. And only now did it make sense and have any meaning. “I’ve always been here, Portia,” Jayd pointed out honestly, shoving his hand back into the pocket of his jeans. “I always will be. I thought you knew that.”
Jaedyn pulled the scissors back out of his pocket as he waited for Portia to speak, brushing a forefinger along one blade gently, so as not to cut himself. A whirlwind of disgust filled his thoughts for the item he held and he gripped the scissors harder. Looking up when Portia spoke, he shook his head and shrugged. “I can’t …” Jaedyn shook his head again, balling his right fist tighter around the scissors as he struggled to speak. Acting on impulse, he pulled his arm back, effectively slamming the point of the scissors into the wood of the wall behind him. The point of the scissors was imbedded at least a fourth of an inch into the wood, though Jayd would have rather it go in farther.
His blonde hair fell over his blue eyes, hiding them from view as he dropped his hand back to his side, leaving the scissors where they were. “I can’t let you do this…” he spoke honestly of why he’d stopped her. He wouldn’t have forgiven himself if she’d died because he wouldn’t check on her. Keeping his chin lowered, he shrugged at her last question. “I don’t know.” [[ this is pretty depressing ... and I can't guarantee what Jayd'll do ... I just kindof go with the flow =/ but hopefully they will ^^ maybe start as just friends again or something <3 ]]

Because I Cant ------------------------------------------------------- live without you
Portia just sat there for a moment wondering about what Jaedyn had said. “Yes, Jacob. Jacob and Stephen and whomever the hell else” It was confusing her slightly until it finally dawned on her what he was talking about. A little laugh erupted from her for a moment as her body clalmed her hair returning to the black, her eyes a bright hazel. Nothing happened between me and anyone else. If you are talking about how i flirt with everyone then Jaedyn you should know better. Flirting is my personality, but I never let anything go over the limit because I love you. It took Portia a moment to realize that when she had said love she had not used the passed tense. Sighing Portia allowed her body to lean back against the stall wall as she watched Jaedyn become more and more uncomfortable around her. Time to lighten the mood a little bit, for Portia hated being this way.
Jae Im not blaming you for ANYTHING ok. You were right its just as much my fault as it is yours. If not more. Things just got so out of hand that I honest had no idea what was going on. Alayna placed a calming hand on Legolas as he sent a message to her through his mind. Unlike Numinor Legolas could only send the messages through touch, except with Portia. Though Portia preffered to touch his silken hide anyways. You both are too good a friends to let something as stupid as this tear up your relationship. Portia looked at Legolas and gave the young stallion a loving smile and he nudged her gently before getting to his feet. The unicorn towered over Navarano for Legolas was lean and stong, the fighting kind, not like Navarano who was only a simple horse and built for muscle. Legolas stood behind Jaedyn and gave him a soft nudge with his muzzle before leaving it at his shouldar. Portia loves you. She cried every night we were gone because she didnt understay why you too had failed. She never said she didnt love you or that she blamed you for anything. She blamed herself for not being good enough for you. Give her another chance, shes worth more than you think. With that Legolas gave Jaedyn a nicker and a shove before walking right out of the stall followed closely by Navarano. Portia allowed the two to wander where they pleased for she knew Legolas would not go far and Navarano would not leave his new friends side.
Portia gave Legolas a look before he left. She had not been able to hear what Legolas had said to Jaedyn and she could only imagine what the young one had said. He was cunning Portia had to give him that. She loved the stallion very much. Jae I know itll be a long time beofore we get back to the way things were. If we ever get back there. But can we just start over. As friends? Portia leaned her back up against the wall, oh how badly Portia wanted to hold Jae and just let him hold her and never let go. But that may never happen again. She could not believe that this had happened to them. After they had slept together Portia had fallen in love with Jae and ever since Portia's feelings had not wavered. And for the record. I HATE Stephen. she said with a smile. Portia had to emphasize on the hate because truly there was no greater hate between the two of them. Portia was someone that Stephen could not have and he hated that. Stephen hated the fact that Portia was in love with Jaedyn so every chance he got Stephen was flirting with her and trying to win her heart in the wierdest ways. But Portia could not hate anyone more. ooc: done ok that works..just totally start over. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Jaedyn clenched his fists when she laughed, a ripple of annoyance shooting down his back. Keeping his gaze lowered, the top half of his face from view, he shook his head, tempted to turn away and stalk back to the castle then. He couldn’t help but feel as if she were making fun of him; as if she were implying that he shouldn’t feel jealous when she flirted with other guys. So was it not wrong anymore to claim that you love someone and then purposely flirt with someone such as Stephen right before him? To Jaedyn, it sure seemed that Portia felt that way. When she said she loved him, Jaedyn knew he should respond in much the same way, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t say such obligating words when he was so confused about so much of his life.
Jaedyn stumbled slightly when Legolas shoved him, brushing a hand once more through his hair. He couldn’t help but agree with what the unicorn had stated, though it wasn’t as simple as one thought. He’d been hurt, torn up inside—it wasn’t that easy to just forget what had happened. Hell, Jaedyn didn’t even know half of what had happened, everything had transpired so fast. Swallowing silently, Jaedyn pulled at the cuffs of his jacket before moving to sit down beside Portia, brushing a thumb around in the hay below him. “I think that would be for the best,” Jaedyn agreed with her suggestion as friends, though something was tugging indefinitely at his heart. He couldn’t just forget, and there was no way they could go back. But if they started anew … perhaps one or both of them would find out what went wrong.
He sat a comfortable distance from her, legs stretched out before him casually. He smiled slightly up at her when she mentioned Stephen, though the expression was far from his normal one. Jaedyn couldn’t help but think of how Portia had acted to the older Gryffindor on that fateful day; that moment had proved to be the final straw—Jayd had refused to take anymore of it. But nonetheless, Portia and he had more than enough to catch up on, not to mention figuring out just what had gone wrong. “Portia?” he spoke softly, finally raising his gaze to hers, longing to hold her again suddenly. “I’m sorry,” he pointed out, referring to her father’s death rather than what they’d been fighting about. Not only had he felt guilty for not being at the funeral with her, but her words from earlier had cut right through him. [[ I have no idea where this is going now … xD ]]

Let My Heart Rest ------------------------------------------------------- in pieces
“I think that would be for the best,” Maybe now they could figure out where things went wrong. There were so many things that they needed to catch up on, just about eachothers lives. Portia and Jae had been such good friends before that they told eachother everything. Now that they hadnt been so close it bugged Portia to not be able to tell him everything like she wanted.So..hows the life? Portia said trying to start a conversation. Though she didnt know if it would work or not. Jaedyn might not feel comfortable telling her anything anymore. Portia just wished they could go back and change whatever had gone wrong. Looking up Portia's face suddenly went to concern when a limping Navarano came back into the barn. The stallion was all sweaty and Portia could see that he was gavoring his right foreleg. Looking at Legolas with a slightly annoyed look Portia got to her feet to immediately tend to her fathers stallion.
Grabbing one of the blankets sitting outside the stall door Portia threw it over Navarano and began feeling up and down his foreleg trying to find the problem. Legolas moved next to Jaedyn with his head hung low in shame. Legolas, Nava is not a unicorn. He cannot withstand the same things you can. And hes old. The last part Portia said with a whisper. Nava was a gift from her father and she would not be able to stand it if anything were to happen to him. Raising her wand Portia said a simple spell and Nava was standing on his leg again, only he was much too sore to want to move. The large stallions knees buckled and he went down right next to Portia with a groan. The oldened stallion laid his grey freckled head in Portias lap and within seconds the stallion was asleep. Its alright Legolas. You just need to be careful with him next time. Portia said her calm eyes looking at Legolas. Just that calmness seemed to calm the stallion down and he too moved to Portias side and laid down next to her. Looking at Jaedyn Portia suddenly felt ashamed for her actions. Navarano was my fathers horse. The last thing he gave me. Portia told him as if it would explain things.
Hearing him speak though made Portia want to walk over there and just fall in his arms. But she had to push that notion back. “I’m sorry,” Tears suddenly came to Portia's eyes once again. She knew he was not talking about the fighting between them, but of her fathers death. Fighting back the tears Portgia was determined to be strong, for her fathers memory. He died fighting for what he believed in. Who could ask for better. Her words were choking her but she forced herself to keep going. You know I told him at the end of my 7th year I would join him. He had said that there was no one else he would want beside him. But now my mother is so frightened that all Im going to be able to do is protect her. Instead of being in the middle of the fighting where I belong. As the last sentence erupted Portias eyes flared with fire once more. The fire that was Portia, and what made everyone so scared of Portia. ooc: done [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Jaedyn grinned softly when Portia asked how things were. His gaze was still lowered—looking at the hay—his golden hair blocking his eyes from view. He needed a haircut—or at least a trim—that was for sure. “Remember how anything involving too much physical activity was something I’d never do?” he asked, fiddling with a piece of straw between his calloused fingertips. He didn’t say anything more, instead waiting for Portia to answer. She hadn’t been there when Xander had discovered Jaedyn’s hidden Seeker-prodige-ness, and the discovery had occurred just days after their fight, so he hadn’t really gotten a chance to tell her. His lack of comfort around Portia shone in his wary demeanor. While Jayd’s subconscious would have rather been alone to think everything through, he was making an effort to get things back to normal between them.
Jaedyn raised his gaze when Portia jumped up. He watched silently as she tended to the older horse, raising his eyebrows questioningly at Legolas as the unicorn moved to stand beside him. Jayd smiled softly when Portia spoke to him, his expression showing he understood. Portia had always valued the relationship she had with her horses; Jaedyn knew that. The fact that Navarano was her father’s made that particular relationship even more special. Even so, the scene laid before Jaedyn’s blue eyes after Legolas laid beside her was so serene—as if it were a magnificent painting created by some well-known artist. Jayd didn’t dare move to be in the “picture,” beside Portia and her beloved horses. Before he would have felt more welcome to, but now … he wasn’t quite sure if that was where he belonged in the end.
The Gryffindor boy nodded as Portia spoke, soft blue eyes watching her as he listened. “He was a wonderful man, Portia, ” he agreed softly, “ brave and gallant to die in order to protect his family—to protect you.” The boy had always had a way with words, that much was apparent in his lyrics. More often than not however, Jayd opted not to use his poetic nature in everyday conversation. He looked down for a second before gazing at her once more through that fringe of hair. “ You still can, Portia,” he pointed out. “ She’ll understand.” [/blockquote] [[ sorry for the long wait; been working on this reply for a good week now off and on during school ^^ ]]

Why Cant We Just Move On ------------------------------------------------------- to the place where we belong
Portia could tell that Jaedyn was still very uncomforable around her. It was destroying her not being able to touch him anymore, or let him hold her. “Remember how anything involving too much physical activity was something I’d never do?” Portia looked up from Navarano with a confused look on her face. What in the world was he trying to get at. Yes I remember. You never missed any of my matches. A small giggle erupted from Portia as she remembered those memories. Portia could just see Jaedyn now following Portia reluctantly into the quidditch field armed with their brooms, just to make her feel good and tell her how awsome she was doing.. Jaedyn had never learned how to fly. Though he was very good for moral support before a game. Why do you ask? Portia was rather confused by this point? She had never really seen Jaedyn do anything that involved quidditch, unless it was when he was gaurding the goals for her. Portia had been on the team as until she left. Not much has changed for Xavier was still captain. Portia was certain Gryffindor would do good without her this year. Quidditch was one distraction she did no need right now.
Tending to Nava was not near as hard as most would think. If it was a simple flesh wound Portia would use her wand to heal it, but when he pulled a muscle or tendon Portia would nurse him back to health. This was what Portia enjoyed. She tended to injured unicorns all the time with Mr Ashmore. Everyone thought it a wierd relationship, but Portia only helped him when it came to the unicorns. Allowing Nava and Legolas to lay next to Portia, she knew what would be even more perfect. If Jaedyn was sitting next to her, holding her close. Holding back tears Alaynas eyes flashed blue only for a slight moment before they became normal again. Portia figured Jae woldnt notice because he was not looking up from the hay. “He was a wonderful man, Portia,” Tears came to her face. Nearly everyone at hogwarts knew her father and paid their respects. And everytime Portias heart would fall and she wouldnt know what to do. “brave and gallant to die in order to protect his family—to protect you.” Silent tears began to stream down Portias face. Jaedyn had always been very good at words. She looked right at him hoping that he would see the pain, understanding, and gratefullness that filled her eyes for her voice was seeming to fail her. Portias whole life had been her father and now he was gone.
“You still can, Portia, She’ll understand.” Drying up her tears Portia looked at him it seemed for the first time. Al the spirit and boldness was in her again. All the strength, it seemed her fathers dead had been the worst thing in her life and yet she had lived through it. Portia was strong and there was no way anyone could stop her. Well she is not going to be able to stop me either way...so shes going to have to understand. Ha. Yes Portia was back. Her whole body seemed to relax for the first time since her and Jae began to fight. You know. It would be amazing to be able to fight beside the order, her eyes went all glazed as she thought of this, If I go down like my father by god Im taking as many of those bastards with me as I can. ooc: not done [/blockquote][/blockquote]
