Gavin chuckled, “ Admit it, you wouldn’t have me any other way.” he smiled, “ face it you secretly are madly in love with me.” His voice dripped with sarcasm and he wasn’t sure of the reaction he would get, but as always he was willing to take the chance.
“Every time I walk by you your stomach flips, and you wish my arm could be around you.” His arm slowly made its way across her back until it held tightly to her opposite side,” Wish I would leaned my head on yours.” He leaned his head down to hers, though his mouth fell rather closely to her ear and he whispered in a very low voice, “You cant resist me.”

Melrose laughed lightly as Gavin proceeded to be even more obnoxious—to steal Chelsea’s word and everything ;]. She pursed her lips, smirking slightly as she let him flirt, still making no move to throw herself at him … well, fully. “I could say the same about you, Gavie,” she purred, brushing a hand through his hair.
“Wish I’d brush my hands through your hair; wish I’d kiss you…” Her voice was airy, soft. She leaned forward, stopping as to where her lips were centimeters from his, smirking even wider. “Hmm?” she asked softly, looking at him through her lashes. Gavin was shocked. Not that he would let it show, he only sneered. Slowly bringing his face nearer to hers, though never touching, “ There’s a difference between you and I.” A soft breath escaped his lips as he talked, “You are obviously madly in love with me. I don’t really ‘love’ anyone at all.” He kissed her, not a romantic kiss, or just a fun kiss. It was quick, barley touching her lips at all. He smiled, “ Ah the memories.”

Melrose grinned, wrapping her arms loosely around Gavin’s neck. “And what makes you think I’m the one in love with you?” she asked smirking, continuing the conversation after he kissed her, as if it were nothing. Perhaps part of her wanted Jon to walk in just then; just so she could have the assurance that he knew how she’d felt—how she did feel.

Gavin’s smile dropped when she had absolutely no reaction to his kiss, but he quickly forced his frown into a smirk, “Everybody loves me, just accept that you, Melrose, are no exception.” Gavin wanted to get her back for her completely straight face…but how? Then his smirk turned into a grin, ” Maybe it was your issues with acceptance that drove Jonny-boy into the arms of another woman.” The words rolled of his tongue, he prayed for a reaction out of her this time.

Melrose raised her eyebrows as Gavin suggested she'd driven Jon to Lilyth. She pursed her lips softly, lifting her arms from around him. "Right. Maybe it was," she spoke monotonously. Shrugging, she hopped back off of the table, lifting her cue stick and returning to her game. She could have slapped him for saying such a thing, but she didn't. Why? Well, that was Gavin.

Gavin rolled his eyes jumping off the table and walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her, leaning his head on her shoulder, ” Mel…” he whined in a childish manner, “ Your so mean to me…agreeing with things I say!” Gavin through childish fits often, whether it was strictly for the cuteness or the shear fact that he had little maturity. He blew on her neck, swaying a bit. She was to good at ignoring him, he wanted to put a halt to her game, maybe it would be harder with nothing else to concentrate on except him or Jon. At least that was Gavin’s hope.

Melrose rolled her eyes, doing what she could to ignore Gavin. Inside her head, however, a constant war was still raging. Melrose’s natural personality versus her conscience, and who would win…? Unable to take her mind off of the situation with her game of pool, the blunt of that day’s happenings flew freely inside of her head.
He’d cheated on her. Sure, he’d claimed nothing had happened, but she’d seen enough to contradict that. She sat the cue stick onto the green felt of the table gently when Gavin began to throw one of his infamous fits. She closed her eyes, leaning back into him comfortably for a few moments before responding.
She lifted one hand slowly, trailing her fingers up his neck before letting his hair loose. Turning just slightly, she opened her eyes to finally meet his. A mischievous sparkle resided in the hazel color. “I thought agreeing was a good thing, [/b]” she pointed out. And then … her lips met his with a ferocious, needy kiss. And personality prevails.[/size][/blockquote]

Gavin was surprised by her reaction, enthusiastic, but surprised. He smiled against her lips,” Agreeing is only good when it works out how I want it.” It was strange. Melrose and him went out, broke up, and unlike most of his other exes he didn’t want to get over it. He hadn’t been more in love with her, mean as it sounds he didn’t really believe in love, but hey she was hot and her personality was both troublesome and incredibly amazing.

Melrose opened her eyes as Gavin broke the kiss, raising an eyebrow and smirking slightly up at him. “And this is how you want it?” she guessed, look becoming defiant, as if she were about to stop “agreeing” with him. The time she’d spent with Gavin was—indeed—enjoyable; Mel had become more self confident than ever, if you could imagine that, through those few years. However, she’d never really felt the same way with Gavin as she had with Jon. But, perhaps love was overrated. She’d experienced a few months of complete bliss only to be questioning her own self in a moment’s notice.

Gavin smiled, “A moment ago it was.” He laughed a little as he wrapped his arms around her lower back. Why they broke up he honestly couldn’t remember, he was sure it was his fault since it usually was. While part of him wished they hadn’t, the part of him that got joy out of harassing her and even In this, where she is in love with someone else. Its all fascinating.

Melrose smirked softly, shaking her head as an airy chuckle escaped her lips. Keeping her arms wrapped loosely around Gavin’s neck, she closed her eyes softly, opening them again after a few seconds. Her smile was soft, somewhat content; Melrose had always been one for contact with another person, it just made things seem more … real … or something along those lines. As far as the reasoning behind their breakup, Melrose couldn’t tell you much. She’d long ago forgotten as well, though she might have easily been able to remember it all if she’d taken the time to try.
And as she thought about her past relationship with Gavin, her conscience—yes, she has one … somewhere—shoved the thought of Jon forward. A rush of guilt swept through her suddenly, and she dropped her arms from Gavin’s neck, shaking her head and hopping back off of the pool table. “I can’t do this, Gavin,” she admitted softly, shocked herself at the sudden realization. “Not this time.” [[ o.o -shrugs- don't ask me where the last part came from ]]

Gavin frowned as she jumped off the table, “Mel.” He slid off the table and grabbed her shoulder, hard enough that it would get her attention, soft enough that it didn’t seem violent, “ Good, sweet, Melrose. What a sham.” The words soaked like venom from his lips, “ loyal, honest girl my ass.”
Gavin pulled a cigarette out of his back pocket and lit it up, a trail of smoke followed him as he sat at a booth, “Why should I fret? When your cheating lovers gets some other girl knocked up you'll just come crying to me anyway.” He turned his head her way, he was trying to make her mad. Whether it was at him or at Jon he wasn’t sure. He wanted her full attention, in love or hate, he was determined to get it.

Melrose tensed slightly as Gavin made fun of her, or whatever it was he was doing. She glared silently at him as he spoke, watching him move back to a booth. Squaring her shoulders, Mel followed him. Her usual independence flowed through her, something Gavin had said setting her off. Just as he’d planned.
Plucking the cigarette from his fingers, she twirled it in her own. “Maybe you’re right, Gavin,” she spoke, looking down at him. Her words were innocent enough, but there was a bite of sarcasm in her pissed off expression. “Perhaps Jon and I were never meant to be together, hm?” She took a step closer to him, hand with his cigarette tucked casually behind her back, as if she’d taken it to gain his full attention.
She moved so her face was inches from his, free hand caressing the length of his jaw. “Is that what you want to hear?” She spoke harshly this time, before kissing him deeply. After a few seconds, she moved her other arm to rest on his shoulder, pressing the lit end of the cigarette into the back of his neck swiftly. Pulling away, she dropped the thing behind his back, her face expressing pure disgust. “Oh, whatever did I see in you, Gavin?” She pouted mockingly before turning to grab her coat and make her way back to the castle. [[ ^^ lol, interrupt her if you wish ;] I know how Gavin loves to have the last word. <3 ]]

Gavin jerked his attentions to Melrose when she took his cigarette. Daggers rained from his eyes. He listened to her, smirking, then she kissed him. At first he was deeply confused, how the hell had his plan worked this end, then he kissed her back. He had forgotten all about the small burning object placed in her hand
Until it seared against his skin, he jerked away from it, his hand swinging to the burn. He jumped up after her grabbing her arm and yanking her toward him, “ You saw yourself.” His hand rose and hit her face. He was never one to hit women, or most men, but she had really pissed him off. “ I’ve told you before, Were one in the same.” He let go of her wrist and pulled out another cigarette, almost to casual, and lit it up again. Staring down at her with disgust he puffed rings of smoke,
