Gavin laughed as he spotted the shape, “I think it looks like a rabbit.” He wasn’t sure why, maybe it was a smaller cloud that drifted behind it giving its ears. “ This is boring Chrissy.” he whined, his head leaned toward her, ” I cant find anything inappropriate to say!” He let out a deep….giggle. ‘
Maybe if he hadn’t met her, he would be more messed up than he was. Its true he is a pervert with a bad attitude, but he could be much, much worse.

Chris arched her eyebrow at the older Slytherin beside her. How he had managed to see a rabbit in the cloud she still insisted was a heart was beyond her. I guess it was because she always looked on the darker side of things. Her blue eyes shining in the sunlight, she glanced sideways at him, "Well, why don't you try finding something else to keep your dirty little mind entertained?" she asked, her voice dark and almost sharp.
She ignored the maniacal giggle her friend let out beside her. He was definitely not right in the head, but hey, was there a right? Chris didn't think so. Everyone was weird in their own way, and if everyone was weird, then no one was normal. So if there was no such thing as normal, there couldn't possibly be a right or wrong way to act. This was the reason we don't look inside Chris' train of thought. It sometimes gets confusing and rather gory.
Chris knew just how bad Gavin could have been if it wasn't for her stepping in. Sure, he was still a pervert with a bad attitude and an addiction to sex, but at least that addiction didn't continue on to drugs like it had before. If there was one thing Chris hated, it was drugs and the way it affected the human body. People were pigs to begin with, add a drug induced state and there was no telling what would happen, and Chris wouldn't hesitate to stop things. "Any interesting parties you haven't invited me to lately?" she asked, laying down on her back and looking at Gavin with sparkling eyes. As much as the two friends were constantly flirting and seemingly all over each other, they were only friends, and Chris was completely content with that. She loved Gavin like a brother, and she was glad that was as far as there relationship went.

Gavin laughed harder. Dear Chris. It was true she had saved him, from everything. She was younger but protected him. Now he guarded her more than she would know, he’s gotten in trouble plenty of times for threatening suitors, but he never pointed it out. Still she protected him, she was his wall.
“No, Life has been boring.” Sure he had recently gotten into a fight with Mel, made out with Charity, and met a crazy amount of people, but really that’s how it always was. It wasn’t out of the norm, ” I want to go to a party Chrissy!”

((This is before the Skale//Chris thing, right?)) Chris arched a thin eyebrow at Gavin as he began to laugh harder. He was so weird sometimes, but to be honest, Chris wouldn't have him any other way. He was her best friend and they'd been that way for so long. She didn't know what she'd do without him. Sure, there was Skale, but they didn't really have that friendship Gavin and she did. And though she was younger, she was mature, more mature than Gavin could be. She was the youngest in their little group and the only girl, and yet, she seemed to keep them both of them out of trouble, well, the trouble she really cared about.
"Well we can't be having that, now can we?" she laughed. It was true, things had been boring lately, they'd have to do something to fix that. A party sounded fun, it had been a while since she was able to go to a real party. "Why don't you talk to Darek about a party? He's always the one behind the better ones," she offered with a shrug. Now she was excited, and eager for the drama, booze and music that came with the parties thrown by the Slytherin.
She shifted her position, looking up at Gavin, her long black hair spread all around her glistening in the sunlight. "I'm so glad fall is almost here," she smiled, her voice almost dreamy. The fall was her favorite season, and it held her favorite holiday too. Halloween. Hey, a holiday where you can run around scarring little kids and getting free candy from pathetic muggles, nothing wrong with that. "You're so coming with me on Halloween this year," she laughed, poking Gavin in the side.

Gavin considered the thought. That kid always threw good parties, but he kind of freaked him out. Still….parties…. Gavin would have to think about it later. “Im kind of afraid of that kids hair.” He joked. While it was amazing hair he didn’t like how….needle-like it was. He laughed off the thought in his head, he was crazy, paranoid, jealous prone, and a bit psychotic, but he wasn’t going to let needle-like hair stop him from parties.
When Chrissy brought up Halloween Gavin’s eyes lit up. Halloween, the best holiday of man-kind. Dressing up as strange people, taking candy? Nothing better. Gavin had a long history of almost being expelled on Halloween, various reasons and various events. He had the tendency to break rules…a lot. It was his favorite holiday. Forget Christmas Gifts, not that he got any from family, and New years parties, though that was a close second. Gavin loved Halloween, with a weird passion.
“Of Course Chrissy! I wouldn’t miss it for the world…literally. We could be blown up and still I would hang with you!.”

Gavin's statement about being afraid of Darek's hair caught Chris off guard. She looked up at him, eyebrows raised as she tried not to laugh. "You're afraid of his hair?" she asked, turning his statement into a question. She couldn't believe it, she loved Darek's hair. It was unique and definitely stood out in a crowd. She'd talk to Darek herself, but she wasn't the one obsessed with parties, and she kinda wanted to see Gavin do it.
Halloween was the best holiday in the world. Chris' favorite holiday, though people always looked at her funny for it. Who cares about presents at Christmas? At Halloween, she got to dress up stranger than normal, scare the crap out of muggle kids and steal candy from people, not to mention some pretty intense pranks the night before. It was like the Slytherin's haven, scaring people, free candy, and pranks all wrapped up into one holiday. How could it not be her favorite? Sure, the three of them had cut it pretty close as far as getting expelled, and a couple people got hurt pretty bad a couple times. Who cares, right? The group of friends was having fun and none of them had gotten hurt, well at least not too bad....
At the end of the night, it was them with the last laughs and destruction everywhere else. She laughed just thinking about it, she couldn't wait. She was happy to find that Gavin was definitely going to be there, now to get Skale in on it. "We haven't done anything to get into trouble yet this year," she pouted, crazy how her mind worked, huh? "I have a feeling this Halloween is going to be bigger than last year," she laughed, her evil mind was already plotting. After all, she was the brains behind most of their trouble.

While trouble wasn’t a bore to Gavin that was never his main interest. His friends and himself have caused much trouble, which was fun, but not a main attraction to the holiday. He had a sweet tooth so candy was always a plus, then of course there is those girls who like to dress….briefly….Gavin prided himself on how many girls he could kiss on Halloween night. Though every once in a while a guy sneaks into his count, but that’s something he doesn’t boast.
Still a prank sounded fun, and while he knew Chris had gotten herself into trouble for fights they hadn’t pulled a good prank. Chris plotted, Gavin merely was a pawn in the plan, as always, and often a scapegoat. As someone who couldn’t care less about making it out of school, and as a person who has been impressed how far he has made it, he often took the blame. Not that Chrissy or his friends ditched him, he chose that path, though often it is obvious certain pranks could not have been pulled off alone.
“Chrissy cant we just enjoy candy and the skirts that seem to blow up in a mysterious indoor wind?” He smirked, back in his fifth year he had been staring at this girl, the back of her head, and her skirt ‘mysteriously’ flew up, she angrily turned around and it turned out to be Chrissy, Gavin of course laughed but Chris almost killed him. It had been an honest mistake, one of the only honest things Gavin’s ever done.

Chris knew Gavin wasn't as willing as Skale to cause trouble, but that never stopped him from helping out with their many pranks, and for that she was grateful. It was true that Chris loved to play pranks and cause trouble, and that was part of the reason she loved Halloween so much, but it wasn't the only reason. She had a sweet tooth, and there was nothing wrong with getting free candy. Sure, many people thought she was too old to be out trick-or-treating, but hey, what was stopping her? If she had her way, Halloween would be an entire weekend, but alas, it was only one night. That didn't stop her from making it last all weekend.
Chris was sick of getting in trouble for beating people up, as much fun as she had causing pain to people, she wanted some real fun, a prank that's worth getting in trouble for. It didn't help it had sort of become a tradition for the three friends to launch a prank on Halloween, the teachers had come to expect it, and Chris was bent on trying to beat last year's display. They all had a job in making things happen, and as much as she hated letting Gavin take the heat for it, someone had to do it and he offered, besides there were seldom times one of them got in trouble without suspicion being cast on the other two anymore. It was a well known fact that the trio acted together, especially on larger pranks.
To any other person that may have heard Gavin's comment, they would think it completely harmless, innocent if you like, but we're talking about Chris, and she knew exactly what he was referring to. A cool expression came over her features as she stared daggers at her fellow Slytherin. "If it happens again, there will be nothing stopping me from killing you," she stated simply and yet there was something in the tone of her voice that made it sound that much more threatening. She knew Gavin was a pervert and he hadn't realized it was her until after the feat was done, but it was still embarrassing and it's Chris here.

Gavin laughed whole heartedly. He knew how close they were. He knew that is almost any situation Chris would help him out, not that he would need it but if he did she was there. The only exception to that is an offense against her, which he did a little to much. She was the little sister he never had, the older sister he never wanted, and the mom who cared about him. She was the only girl in his life he didn’t hit on constantly and while he liked it that way he noticed how the sun glinted on her eyes and how the wind blew back her hair.
No. He couldn’t think like that and he knew it. She was his closest friend dating another one of his closest friends. He pondered that until he realized he had been silent for to long. “ Please, if I wore a skirt you’d do the same to me.” He smirked at her.

Chris couldn’t help but smile as Gavin laughed. She couldn’t imagine how life could have been if she didn’t meet up with him her second year. She definitely wouldn’t have had so many… entertaining memories, and some how she knew it wouldn’t have been as much fun. She was glad she had Gavin by her side, she knew she could count on him to be there when she needed him. If she needed him. That was something Chris didn’t plan on letting happen any time soon. No, she was strong and independent. She could take care of herself and she didn’t need anyone there to help her. Still, it was nice to have friends.
Chris had an older brother, and she was close to him too… well, for a while. He moved away, and it seemed Gavin was there to step right into place. Sure, he was closer to her age and they got along much better. Heck, they were in the same house and that was something compared to her and Will. He was a Gryffindor back when he was at Hogwarts. Gavin was a different type of brother. Caught between a younger brother and an older, but still, he was family.
Looking at Gavin curiously, she wondered why his face had gone blank, as if his thoughts were somewhere far away. The fact that he hadn’t said anything was also a giveaway. “Are you so sure about that?” She asked, arching one of her slender eyebrows at him playfully.

“Of course.” He reached an arm out and poked her between the eyes. “ You’re in love with me. Hadn’t we already discussed this?” he winked. He was referring to their earlier conversation about the world revolving around him. He stuck a tongue out at his long time friend. She had both gotten him into trouble and gotten him out of it, she was probably the most mature of the three and he could accept that.
He wasn’t sure where he fell on the maturity scale. In most cases he would have to say that he was the bottom, but compared to Skale he was honestly not sure. He smiled thinking about it.

Chris rolled her eyes at Gavin’s comment, leaning back as she tried to avoid his ever-approaching finger. Nevertheless, his finger made contact with the skin between her eyes. Smacking his hand away, she looked at him skeptically. “And when did this happen?” she asked, referring to Gavin’s thinking she was in love with him. True, they had only just discussed his self-centeredness, but it was still fun to joke. He was such a little kid at times, she found herself thinking as he stuck is tongue out at her. She crossed her arms over her chest and stuck her own tongue out at him, scrunching her nose up as she did so. I have to admit it was a pretty cute face, in an… awkward way.
Obviously she was the most mature out of the three of them, Skale, Gavin, and her. After all, she was the only girl. None of them ever seemed to forget it either. Either she was reminding them about it because she was smarter, or they were reminding her of it because she was ‘weaker’. Still, the fact remained, as did the fact that she was the smartest and most mature. Gavin’s smile caused her to wonder. “whatcha thinking about?” she asked, leaning closer to him and giving him almost a pouty face.

Gavin let out a bit of a man giggled….yes a man giggle. As she did a bit of a pouty face, which was extremely iristable, he thought about what to answer. His smirk grew as he came up with the perfect answer, “I was just thinking that…” He reached an arm out and pulled her against him and felt her up a bit, ” ..Your boobs aren’t as luscious as some of the other girls here.” He couldn’t help it. She was a girl and he cared for her dearly but bringing her down is what he did as a good friend. Or at least his own version of one.

Gavin seemed to giggle quite often, and so as the sound reached Chris’ ears, she was practically unfazed by it. It took him a bit longer than she expected for him to answer his question, and so she should have predicted it was going to be something annoying and more than likely, perverted. You couldn’t blame Gavin for it, however, it was in his character, and Chris knew that. It was her own fault for putting up with it for so long. Still, she couldn’t believe he’d felt her up and then bashed her physical attributes. A light growl passed her lips as she glared at Gavin, ”Quite your damn complaining, their mine,” she spat, pushing Gavin down in the grass. Yep, she definitely could have predicted something along those lines. Still, she doubted that was what was originally on his mind.

“But Chrissy I do Not believe that is true. See you don’t have to stare at them all day. I see you so much, and because of your body being almost flawless I HAVE to check you out. Your boobs are a serious problem to me.” He said in a childish voice. Of Course he was kidding. He thought she was perfect, but he had to tease her. Watching her he thought she might be upset with his comment so she sat up and made a puppy dog face, “ Forgive me Chrissy? Your boobs are enjoyable to look at, and they don’t feel bad at all!”
His own awkward apology would sound weird to anyone who hadn’t known him as long as Chris, and maybe it sounded weird to her as well.
