Gavin smiled, “ Oh Love, you’re already crazy!” He was joking with her of course. Chris had brains which was true. Gavin wondered himself what he would do without her. She had kept in line, what happens when she is in school and he’s not? He’ll have to hang in hogsmeade in hope of running into her on Hogwarts visits…that would look creepy. He wouldn’t want to admit it, but he’s not sure he can be sensible without Chris. He may act like a freak, but at least it was a clean, witty freak. Before Chris he was the high kid that was anti-social. Whether it was Chris’s doing or not he was well off with her as his friend, and while they thought it now, what if they grew apart?
“I don’t want to leave here!” He whined like a child. He had grown accustomed to this place and didn’t want to leave its walls. Sure Summer vacation was nice, but not a permanent one. [/blockquote]

”Yes, and I’m sure that was part your doing, I suppose,” she retorted, her English accent showing through a bit more than usual. Sure, Chris could handle herself as far as actual classes went, and yea, she had a few friends that weren’t Skale and Gavin, but they certainly weren’t as trusted and close as the troublesome trio was. How could a simple year’s difference in age threaten such a close relationship? It was unfair and something Chris hated thinking about. She assumed she’d be sneaking out of the castle more than she already was, and she’d have to master her aparation a bit more. She could do it, but she wasn’t exactly good at it quite yet.
A weak smile was offered as Gavin whined. ”I don’t want you to go either,” she spoke honestly. Hogwarts just wouldn’t be the same without Gavin.

Gavin moved so he could hug Christina, “I refuse. I wont go home this summer.” He sounded like he was kidding, which he was, but he also sounded a little serious. “I will stay here for the rest of my life…of course they wouldn’t let me be a teacher, but maybe I can like….” Honestly even in his joking sense he couldn’t think of anything he could do at the school beyond him being a student there.
“A year wont kill us. You, Me, Skale. We’ll all be together after next year again.” He sounded optimistic which was rare for him. He always sounded cocky and sure of himself, but optimistic is something completely different.

Chris smiled as Gavin hugged her. It was rare for her to be so welcoming to such fuzzy acts of affection, but she figured it was okay just this once. She couldn’t help but laugh a little at his almost childish statement. ”I sure the professors would really like that,” she rolled her eyes. The three of them weren’t the most favored students by the professors. They were constantly in trouble and never in class. Though she knew he was joking, he almost sounded serious and that worried her a bit. She was reminded of a small child crying ‘I don’t want to grow up!’. The simplistic sentence kept ringing in her ears as Gavin continued his theory. No matter how much Gavin attempted to deny it, they both knew he wouldn’t be able to stay at Hogwarts.
She smiled, it was definitely going to happen. They would all be together during summer vacation at least a little bit and Chris was already plotting ways of getting away from the castle during the next school year. They’d make it through. It may be the longest year any of them have experienced, but they’d make it. They always did. Didn’t they? ”Oh yea, and if you think I’m sticking around Hogwarts next year, you’re messed up in the head. I’ll be off campus every chance I get,” she smiled. She was thinking aloud just as much as she was talking to Gavin. However difficult next year may be, they still had plenty of time before then. No need to really worry about it just yet.

Gavin laughed and sighed, “Of course you’re sneaking out.” he shook his head while laughing a little. True he probably had the worst morals of the three. Sleeping around, with the exception of those two he had no trust or feelings of comradory to anyone, and he had no plans for life, still he felt like he was a bad influence on Chris. IF he thought about it she would be sneaking out whether she met him or not, but he cared enough about he girl to want her to have a successful life.
“Don’t get caught. If You get expelled I wont talk to you anymore.” He sounded like a parent more than a friend, but he was sort of kidding. Chris had a future he believed, he figured himself to be some starving tree musician with a kid living with him and many more child support bills for those kids not living with him. He faced reality with a dim view, but he hoped he would always have his close friend Chris.

Chris laughed as well, if Gavin didn’t realize she would be sneaking out by now, he’d not been paying much attention the past six years. They all had horrible morals, but if there was one thing Chris did believe in, it was loyalty. She was one of the most devoted friends, well, if people got passed her bitter attitude and she actually liked them. Okay, she was devoted sometimes, but either way, she didn’t sleep around, she got decent marks in her classes and for as much trouble she caused around the castle, the number of times she’d gotten caught was surprisingly low. There were a few times she’d gotten extremely close to getting caught and when she was caught she had to deal with some heavy punishment, but it was totally worth it.
She honestly had no idea what she was going to after she was done with school. She knew of first years that already had their entire life planned out, and still she didn’t know. She wasn’t much of a planner, she was spontaneous and lived her life one minute at a time. It gave it a bit more flavor, a bit more adventure. There was nothing fun about following a set plan. She turned to look at him, a joking pout on her face. ”Me? Get caught? Never,” she smiled. She’d been breaking rules since she could remember, she was a talented pick-pocket by the time she was eight and she’d snuck out of the castle on numerous occasions. If she lasted for six years without expulsion, she had a feeling she could make it the rest of the way.
